Clients and partners included the Charles E Smith Companies, Costco, Alan I Kay Companies, The Lenkin Companies, the Akridge Companies, Wilmorite, Federal Realty Investment Trust, KIMCO, Union Square Hospitality Group’s Shake Shack and Starwood Urban Investments. They maintain excellent working relationships with real estate professionals and developers industry wide. They have served as State Operations Co-Chairs for the International Council of Shopping Centers, and have memberships in Leadership Washington and Leadership Maryland. Mr. Demaree maintains designation as a Senior Certified Shopping Center manager. Demaree & Associates founded Innovative Aircourts, a pioneering concept in the Airport industry and as such was the first developer to privatize airport concessions. This concept changed the way concessions are provided in airports worldwide. Currently Demaree provides acquisition advice to several clients. Demaree is also a partner or sole owner of several commercial properties and is constantly in search of developments or acquisitions where their expertise can create value.
